About the Role
RK Global Recruitment is supporting a fast-growing SaaS business in hiring a Technical Sales Consultant to join their commercial team.
This is not a traditional sales role. You will act as the bridge between product and client — understanding business challenges, running tailored product demonstrations, and showing how a modern SaaS platform can transform the way organisations operate.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with strong product-market fit, where you can play a key role in shaping the commercial function as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to close
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to client needs
- Develop a strong understanding of the platform to confidently handle technical discussions
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay client requirements
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Represent the business at client meetings, events, and webinars
- Support the development of proposals, case studies, and sales materials
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales or technical pre-sales
- Ability to explain technical products to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience running discovery calls and product demos
- Commercial mindset with a consultative, client-first approach
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Desirable / Nice to Have
- Background in project management, engineering, or construction sectors
- Experience with SaaS tools related to estimation, planning, or reporting
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Existing network in project-driven industries
